Dynasty fantasy football is a game of windows. Every offseason, fantasy managers convince themselves they’re one move away. In this article, we’re identifying one trade target based on value for every AFC team based on roster construction, team needs, player contracts, and most importantly, dynasty impact. Which moves make football sense, and which ones could create league-winning value shifts? Please note that all content will be focused on 12-team SF TE premium formats.

Buffalo Bills
Dalton Kincaid | Tight End | Trade Target for Rebuilders
It is hard to find a value on the Buffalo Bills as Josh Allen, James Cook , and D.J. Moore are all rather expensive to acquire. While they are excellent trade targets, we are looking for value. Dalton Kincaid’s dynasty value has dipped because injuries limited his production over the last two seasons. Kincaid says he is feeling the best he has in the past few years and appeared noticeably larger at OTAs. It’s likely the Kincaid manager is frustrated with his production which may allow you to acquire Kincaid at a discount.
Miami Dolphins
Chris Bell | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Rebuilders
The Miami Dolphins’ offense enters the season with more questions than in recent years, creating an opportunity for rebuilding dynasty managers to target overlooked assets before their values increase. With a lack of playmakers in the offense, Miami spent a second-round pick on wide receiver Caleb Douglas and a third-round pick on Chris Bell. I would not be surprised if Bell has a more productive NFL career than Douglas. Bell is a physical receiver with yards-after-catch potential. The time to trade for Bell may be in season, as Bell suffered an ACL tear in late November 2025, which means a realistic football return may be in the middle of the 2026 season.
New England Patriots
Hunter Henry | Tight End | Trade Target for Contenders
Hunter Henry is one of the best dynasty trade targets for contending teams because he continues to produce at a high level while being valued well below the tight ends producing in his range. Since 2024, Henry has been one of the more reliable veteran options at the position, finishing as a top-12 fantasy tight end in both of the past two seasons. Henry is currently valued at TE28 in our dynasty rankings. On a recent episode of the Dynasty Nerds podcast, Garret and Rich discussed age cliffs and fantasy points; the tight end position’s peak performance is in the 30-32-year-old age range. At 31-years old, Henry is a perfect target for contenders, as his cost has not kept pace with his production. Start your negotiations off with a third-round draft pick and see where the talks take you.
New York Jets
Garrett Wilson | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Contenders
Like I mentioned in my last article about Rome Odunze, When there is a buying opportunity for a young wide receiver who was a top ten NFL Draft pick, you need to capitalize. That is exactly what we have here with Garrett Wilson. Wilson has produced 1,000 yard seasons in 3 of his first 4 NFL seasons with subpar quarterback play. Before a knee injury ended his 2025 campaign, Wilson was the WR5 through the first five weeks of the season. His value has dropped with the additions of tight end Kenyon Sadiq and wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. through the draft. Wilson has the potential to be a WR1 for your team but is being discounted right now at WR2 prices.

Baltimore Ravens
Mark Andrews | Tight End | Trade Target for Contenders
One of my favorite bounce-back candidates for the 2026 season is Mark Andrews. His 2025 season saw career lows in receiving yards, but Andrews remains capable of producing at a very high fantasy level. With the departure of Isaiah Likely and Charlie Koler in free agency, over 50 targets devoted to the tight end position have been vacated, and Andrews should be the biggest beneficiary. With a brand-new three-year extension, Baltimore has shown it still believes in Andrews’ production. Contending teams should look to move their 2027 second-round draft pick for Andrews if they need a tight end.
Cincinatti Bengals
Colbie Young | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Rebuilders
The Bengals have been trying to find a viable WR3 option ever since the departure of Tyler Boyd in free agency in 2024. In his three years in the league, Andrei Iosivas has failed to clear 500 receiving yards. Cincinatti also attempted to address the position through the draft with Jermaine Burton who is now unemployed. At 6’4” 218 lbs, reports out of minicamp stated that the rookie fourth round receiver has been impressive and could immediately compete with Iosivas for the WR3. The price for Young is pretty low and should be considered as a throw in piece to a bigger trade.
Cleveland Browns
Dylan Sampson | Running Back | Trade Target for Rebuilders
You will see a trend in my running back targets for rebuilding teams. I covet a running back that has value in PPR formats due to their reception upside. While Dylan Sampson is the clear RB2 in Cleveland behind Quinshon Judkins, he outproduced Judkins in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Also with the departure of Jerome Ford, Sampson is the clear handcuff to Judkins and would ascend in value if Judkins were to miss any time. Sampson’s college production shows his potential in a featured role where he holds Tennessee’s single-season rushing yards record (1,491) and single-season rushing touchdown record (22).
Pittsburgh Steelers
Rico Dowdle | Running Back | Trade Target for Contenders
If you are a contender and need help at running back, Rico Dowdle may be the cheap trade target you need. Recent trades have Dowdle’s value around multiple third-round draft picks. He signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the offseason after back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons with the Cowboys and Panthers. New Steelers Head Coach Mike McCarthy is familiar with Dowdle from their time together in Dallas. Dowdle will have competition with Jaylen Warren for the starting role, but if last season has shown anything, he is capable of taking a starter role after supplanting Chuba Hubbard in Carolina. From Weeks 5 to 18, Dowdle finished as the RB10 overall.
AFC South

Houston Texans
David Montgomery | Running Back | Trade Target for Contenders
Contending teams in search of an RB2 should look to see what the cost is on David Montgomery in their league. Montgomery is the projected lead early-down and goal-line running back for the Houston Texans after signing a two-year, $16.5 million deal. At 29-years old, his window is closing for non-contending teams to move on him from. Given his age, I would start negotiations off with two third round rookie picks but would expect to pay at least a second if I was in need of another running back.
Indianapolis Colts
Josh Downs | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Contenders or Rebuilders
With the team’s leading target receiver over the past 5 seasons leaving, Michael Pittman Jr.‘s departure to the Pittsburgh Steelers leaves 111 targets vacant for the 2025 season. Those targets are more suited for a player like Josh Downs, as Alec Pierce tends to be the deep-threat option in the Colts’ passing game. Pittman’s targets were more in the short- to mid-field area, where Downs thrives. It’s also worth noting that after signing a four-year, $114 million deal, Pierce has been absent from practice while recovering from offseason ankle surgery. At only 24-years old, Downs is a good target as your WR3 and can still be acquired at a reasonable cost.
Jacksonville Jaguars
LeQuint Allen | Running Back | Trade Target for Rebuilders
One of the sneakier buy-low options at the running back position could be LeQuint Allen. While the fantasy focus of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back room is on Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez, many are sleeping on Allen, except the Dynasty Nerds. We were higher than consensus on Allen due to his pass-catching ability. Allen has carved out a role as the team’s primary third-down running back due to his pass-blocking skills and reliable hands, which has given him a solid role in PPR formats. In my home league, I recently traded a fourth-round draft pick for Allen.
Tennessee Titans
Nicholas Singleton | Running Back | Trade Target for Rebuilders
Nicholas Singleton is an ultimate ceiling play trade target. After being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the 5th round of the NFL Draft, Singleton has a chance to take over the backfield as he lands in a good situation with Tony Pollard in the last year of his deal, and Tyjae Spears often battling injuries. For a rebuilding team, Singleton is an excellent, low-risk target. Since rebuilding rosters should prioritize long-term upside over immediate points, his projected slow rookie season fits your timeline perfectly.
AFC West

Denver Broncos
J.K. Dobbins | Running Back | Trade Target for Contenders
J.K. Dobbins enters the 2026 fantasy season as one of the better values for contending dynasty teams because his production has consistently been strong whenever he’s been healthy. Before suffering a season-ending foot injury in Week 10 of 2025, Dobbins rushed for 772 yards and 4 touchdowns in just 10 games, putting him on pace for more than 1,300 rushing yards. After re-signing with Denver, Sean Payton has made it clear that Dobbins still has a role in this offense. “He’s one of those compound multipliers. There’s so much that he brings… You usually hear him before you see him in there, probably sometimes out here. He’s a tremendous teammate and yes, I’m glad he’s with us.” When healthy, Dobbins will produce at an RB2 level but is being priced at RB3 or RB4 value.
Kansas City Chiefs
Jalen Royals | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Rebuilders
I understand Jalen Royals hesitancy after a rookie season in which he caught 2 receptions for 4 yards. Rashee Rice underwent knee surgery in mid-May, just before a violation of his probation landed him in jail for 30 days. There is significant uncertainty surrounding Rice, and, aside from Xavier Worthy, the wide receiver cupboard is bare. During my rookie scouting last year, I thought the Royals’ tape was better than his fourth-round draft capital. If a rebuilding team is looking to move on from an older veteran wide receiver, Royals is the perfect throw-in piece to a trade.
Los Angeles Chargers
Keaton Mitchell | Running Back | Trade Target for Contenders
Keaton Mitchell signed a two-year, $9.25 million contract with the Los Angeles Chargers, featuring $5 million fully guaranteed and a $3.75 million signing bonus during the offseason. It is interesting to me that new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel loves speedy players and specifically requested that the Chargers sign Mitchell. During his time in Miami, Mike McDaniel’s offense was consistently in the top 10 in targets to the running back position. While a majority of those targets will go to Omarion Hampton, there still will be plenty of targets for Mitchell, which is valuable in PPR leagues. Mitchell’s trade cost is equivalent to a late third to possible fourth-round pick. This is a small-risk trade with a possible high return.
Las Vegas Raiders
Jack Bech | Wide Receiver | Trade Target for Rebuilders
Sometimes in dynasty, we tend to give up on players too quickly. I feel that is what is happening here with Jack Bech. While there are other assets on the Raiders, such as Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, and Fernando Mendoza, that managers should also target, Bech will easily be the cheapest to obtain. He will enter his second season after a disappointing rookie year and is part of a wide receiver room with little competition to keep him from making a second-year leap. There is a brand-new coaching staff that gives Bech a fresh start to prove himself.
