Hey Nerds! We’re heading into Week 4, and this is when fantasy managers can begin to separate legitimate trends from early-season overreactions. Three weeks of NFL action have given us a little more data to work with, but there are still plenty of players whose dynasty value doesn’t match their true long-term outlook. In this article, I’ll break down my Week 4 fantasy football trade advice and show you where fantasy managers can look to gain an advantage on the trade market with these buys and sells.

Players to Buy | Week 4 Fantasy Football Trade Advice
Kirk Cousins | Quarterback | Las Vegas Raiders
This is a move for contending teams that may have lost Jaxson Dart, Jayden Daniels, Baker Mayfield, or Caleb Williams and need some short-term quarterback help. Cousins has looked very efficient in Klint Kubiak’s offense, throwing 3 touchdown passes in each of his 3 games this season, as the Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0. Currently, there is no urgency in transitioning to the No. 1 overall pick, Fernando Mendoza. The price to acquire Cousins is around a third-round pick, which is a good return on investment for someone who can be a solid QB2.
Keenan Allen | Wide Receiver | Indianapolis Colts
Contending teams looking to add depth at wide receiver should consider trading for Keenan Allen. Allen took advantage of his increased opportunities with Alec Pierce landing on IR. On Sunday, Allen caught 6 of 9 targets for 63 yards and 1 touchdown. Since Pierce will be sidelined through at least Week 6, Allen should remain relevant for at least a few more games. Allen should not cost more than a 2028 4th to add some depth to your contending roster. At only 72% rostered, he may also be on your waiver wire.
Matthew Golden | Wide Receiver | Green Bay Packers
Matthew Golden is quickly becoming one of my favorite dynasty trade targets, and his early-season production suggests we could be witnessing a changing of the guard in Green Bay. After a disappointing rookie season in which he recorded just 29 receptions for 361 yards and zero touchdowns, Golden has already caught 15 passes for 253 yards and 1 touchdown through 3 games in 2026. The former first-round pick is averaging an impressive 16.9 yards per reception and is coming off his first career 100-yard regular-season performance against the Atlanta Falcons.
While Christian Watson has been grabbing headlines with his explosive plays and touchdowns, Golden’s underlying statistics tell a different story. Through the first 3 weeks, Golden leads the team in targets with 30, while Watson has 29. Golden also has an 83% route run per team dropback compared to Watson’s 80%
The biggest reason I’m buying Golden is the potential opportunity to capitalize on Watson’s inflated dynasty value. As I mentioned in my Week 2 Trade Article, Watson has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and his production has historically relied on explosive plays rather than consistent weekly volume, with 2026 being an outlier. Golden’s Week 3 performance only strengthens my confidence. Despite Green Bay’s disappointing loss to Atlanta, he finished with 5 receptions for 100 yards and his first regular-season touchdown on 12 targets. I’m betting on Golden’s youth, draft capital, and growing role in Green Bay’s offense. If his manager is still valuing him based on his disappointing rookie campaign and looking to sell, I’m buying before another big performance makes him considerably more expensive.
Players to Sell | Week 4 Dynasty Trade Advice
Kyler Murray | Quarterback | Minnesota Vikings
Kyler Murray is a player I’m looking to sell in dynasty, especially in Superflex leagues where starting quarterbacks still carry significant value. After appearing in just 5 games in 2025, Murray’s fresh start in Minnesota hasn’t exactly gone as planned. Through Week 3, he has thrown for just 186 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions, while already missing time due to a concussion.
While his upside as a rusher and the opportunity to play alongside Justin Jefferson will continue to intrigue fantasy managers, I’m not convinced we’ll ever see the elite fantasy production Murray delivered earlier in his career. If I’m rebuilding, I’m shopping Murray to a quarterback-needy contender that may have lost their quarterback to injury. The urgency to sell Murray is not immediate, so place him on the trade block and see what offers start coming in.
Jadarian Price | Running Back | Seattle Seahawks
Jadarian Price is a good player to sell right now because his touch volume and snap share will likely drop significantly once Zach Charbonnet returns from injury. Seahawks Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed that Charbonnet might return to practice as early as this week, making a Week 5 season debut possible. Price has not looked good without Charbonnet in the lineup, with his YPC average dropping each week, and has never been able to take over as the lead back in the Seahawks offense. You obviously can’t return your first-round investment, but you can recoup some of your losses.
Travis Kelce | Tight End | Kansas City Chiefs
On a recent episode of the Dynasty Nerds podcast, Garret and Andrew discussed Travis Kelce as a sell candidate. They prefaced this for teams that are not true championship contenders. Kelce will be 37 next week, and this could, in fact, be his final NFL season. Kelce’s value is extremely high right now, as he is the TE2 in tight-end premium leagues. So you have a decision to make: do you want to capitalize on Kelce’s value or would you rather he retire on your roster.
