Welcome to the Week 6 NFL CheatChart. In this article, I provide an easy-to-use positional match ups table and highlight potentially exploitable Week 6 fantasy football match ups. Use this for fantasy football start/sit decisions, to make DFS lineups, and place the best player prop bets.

If you’re curious about the process you can find a full introduction HERE where I lay out the NFL CheatChart methodology.

Identify the Week 6 Fantasy Football Matchup Chart

Week 6 NFL CheatChart Positional matchup advantages and disadvantages for QB RB WR and TE.

Example: Let’s say you’re deciding between RJ Harvey (RB-DEN) and Tre Tucker (WR-LV). For Harvey, find DEN in the first column. Follow that row over to the RB column, and you’ll see his positional matchup is 02%. That’s a neutral matchup. Next, for Tucker, find LV in the first column. Follow that row over to the WR column, and you’ll see his positional matchup is 36%, which is an extremely positive matchup. Given both players are averaging around 10 points per game, I would lean Tucker.

Best Week 6 Fantasy Football Match ups to Target

Raiders in a Good Spot

Kirk Cousins has a great 45% positional matchup this week against the Buffalo. He’s coming off a poor performance of just 13.7 points, but that was in a very tough matchup. Up against Josh Allen who’s always down for a good-old-fashioned shoot-out, Cousins could deliver big time.

The Titans Other Pass-Catching Back

If you’re looking for a flex option, you should consider Tyjae Spears. He goes up against the Colts this week who have been a good matchup for opposing running backs. The implied game script says that the Titans will trail but Spears is coming off a game where he caught 9 passes on 9 targets.

The Raiders Receivers

While none of the Raiders wide receivers have been fantasy relevant outside of week 2, you should at least consider them in Week 6. As I said about their QB Kirk Cousins, this could turn into a shoot-out. They have the week’s best over-under of 53.5 and are expected to trail but by just enough to remain competitive. Jalen Nailor is questionable due to a concussion he suffered in the first half of Week 5. If he plays, both he and Tre Tucker can be considered high-risk, high-upside flex choices. If Nailor doesn’t clear protocols then Cody White could be considered a deep flex.

What Happens in Vegas

On the opposite side of that game is Dalton Kincaid who has a particularly juicy 44% matchup against the Raiders. All of the above about the game in general applies here, and while he’s only seen 7 total targets in his last 3 games, we did see him put up big fantasy results in Week 1 and Week 2 so we know it’s in the cards. The situation is right, and that’s enough for tight end.

Toughest Week 6 Fantasy Football Match ups to Avoid

Bo No Mo’

Bo Nix has one of the harder match ups of the week with a -24% matchup score. He isn’t rushing enough to be a safer high-floor option either making him particularly susceptible to game script. He’s averaged only 13 fantasy points a game so far this season, though he hit almost double that in his one good matchup. For Week 6 treat him as a low-end QB2.

Not a St. Bernard

Germie Bernard was a hot waiver pickup this week and for good reason. With Roman Wilson sidelined he saw a massive leap in participation and caught 6 of his 9 targets for 80 yards. Wilson has already been ruled out for Week 6 meaning Bernard should get a high number of snaps again. Unfortunately his matchup this week is far worse, making him a much riskier start in a game with a low over/under. Treat him as a deeper flex option this week.

Hunt Elsewhere

Hunter Henry finally gave us a good fantasy week in Week 5 but now he’s likely to be relegated back to your fantasy bench. He has a -34% matchup in what is expected to be a blowout against the Jets. While the Jets don’t have a particularly good pass defense, their offense has been so awful that teams get up early and run on them the rest of the game.

Week 6 IDP Fantasy Football Match ups

Week 6 NFL CheatChart Positional matchup advantages and disadvantages for LB DL and DB.

Week 6 IDP Targets | Streamers, Sleepers, and Stashes

The Saints defensive line has been torn apart by injuries but through it there are two standout players who have been consistent in their snap share. Chase Young is almost certainly rostered but check waivers for Carl Granderson. Unfortunately with the injuries it’s difficult to start anybody else on the roster due to the inconsistent usage they’ve seen.

The Patriots Linebackers have a great 33% matchup this week. Christian Ellis is expected to play, and even if he’s still banged up he’s a full time player in a good spot so I wouldn’t be too worried to start him. We also have Robert Spillane, another player has been alright for fantasy in 2026, but is seeing the field quite a bit. The deeper choice on this roster will be rookie Gabe Jacas. Jacas has only been seeing 40-80% of snaps so far this year but as a rookie that’s not unheard of. He’s been producing on those limited snaps and and could deliver for Week 6. Even if you don’t need him he may be worth a pickup if you have deeper benches.

Far and away the best DB streamers this week are going to be the Chiefs players. Not only is the positional matchup good but the implied game script has the Chargers playing from behind. That means more passes to potentially intercept. Monsoor Delane, L’Jarius Sneed, and Chamarri Conner are all worthy of starts. Jaden Hicks and Nohl Williams are high-upside deeper plays.

For additional IDP waiver adds I’d recommend checking out Jon Glosser’s Week 6 IDP Waiver Wire.

NFL Week 6 Matchup Trends | Run Funnels, Pass Funnels & IDP

Notable Rush Funnel Teams: Minnesota, the New York Jets, New Orleans, and San Francisco are all funneling points to the run.

Pass Funnel Teams: Arizona, Baltimore, Detroit, and Washington are more inclined to give up points through the air.

IDP Targets: Both the Chargers and Rams are feeding opposing DBs and are worth targeting any given week.

Final Word | Week 6 NFL CheatChart

And that does it for Week 6. You may notice that there is no Tough RB match ups section this week, and that’s because quite frankly, there are no terrible RB match ups. The ones that do have bad match ups are either match up-proof players a-la pass catching running backs, or the implied game script had them in a good spot to at least rack up a bunch of clock-killing carries. I didn’t want to force it and give bad advice, so this week we just skipped it.

Best of luck in Week 6!
