Bottom of the Barrel – Week 13 IDP Waiver Wire Adds

In most leagues, you have two weeks to push for the playoffs! Here are your Week 13 IDP Waiver Adds to give your team the push it needs to make it!

All of the suggested players are assuming you’re using IDP123 scoring or something very close to that.

Week 12 Waiver Recap

Kyle Van Noy  81% snap share; 5 TKL (1 solo), 3 PD, 1 FF, 18 pts. No pick six this week, but another solid performance from a New England team that is on fire right now… in large part due to the defense wreaking havoc on opposing teams’ backfields. Van Noy seems to be on a roll. Start him as your DL2 in platforms that list him as a DL. He has flex potential as a LB.

Kamu Grugier-Hill – 99% snap share; 7 TKL (6 solo), 1 TFL, 1 SK, 1 QBH, 22 pts. KGH had another solid outing against the Jets. Keep an eye on Kirksey’s return. In the meantime, start KGH as a high end LB2.

Quincy Williams– 70% snap share; 7 TKL (4 solo), 1 TFL, 1 SK, 1 QBH, 20 pts. Williams seems to be back in the spotlight again. Mosley and Davis are healthy, but Williams saw significantly more playing time than Davis. Mosley is still “the guy”, but Williams is a LB2/3, or DB2 potential on Sleeper with his dual designation.

Brandon Jones – OUT – Jones’ elbow injury kept him sidelined this week, despite logging a couple limited practices throughout the week.

Honorable Mention: Robert Quinn – 84% snap share; 5 TKL (4 solo), 1 strip sack (1 SK, 1 FF, 1 TFL, 1 QBH), 21 points. Quinn has been putting up solid numbers all year, but was boom/bust. Since Mack landed on IR, he’s seen increased playing time, which bumps up his floor enough to be a DL2 ROS.

Week 12 Adds

Ja’Whaun Bentley – LB – Patriots

Week 12 Stats: 93% Snap Share; 10 TKL (5 solo), 1 SK, 1 QBH, 2 FF – 28 points

Two weeks in a row of me mentioning a Patriot defender to pick up… I should be checked out for brain trauma. All jokes aside, Bentley has shown that Big Daddy Belichick trust him to be on the field for almost 100% of the defensive snaps. Double digit tackles, plus some impact plays will make Bentley a solid option for LB3/Flex.

Azeez Al-Shaair – LB – 49ers

Week 12 Stats: 87% Snap Share; 8 TKL (7 solo), 1 INT (1 PD, 24 Ret Yds), 1 FR – 29.40 points

Al-Shaair is probably another player I should’ve mentioned a lot sooner. I was planning on mentioning him last week, but was unsure of what Greenlaw’s return would do to his playing time. In Week 12 Greenlaw left the game early after reaggravating his groin injury, and Fred Warner left the game with a hamstring injury. Al-Shaair took over play calling, and nearly had a pick six. Warner is going to miss at least Week 13, which would move AAS over to the 100% MIKE role. While Warner is sidelined, AAS will be a high end LB2 option.

Eric Murray – DB – Texans

Week 12 Stats: 99% Snap Share; 8 TKL (5 solo) – 13 points

Lonnie Johnson was moved to corner, and Eric Murray has taken over the starting free safety role. He has 27 tackles over the past 3 weeks, and a pick thrown in. If you’re in desperate need of a DB this week, Murray might be a decent DB2/Flex option.

Nick Vigil – LB – Vikings

Week 12 Stats: 81% Snap Share; 8 TKL (4 solo), 1 TFL – 14 points

Anthony Barr left Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury. Vigil replaced him, and had a decent game. If Barr misses time again, look for Vigil to get the start against a terrible Lions team.

Tyus Bowser – LB – Ravens

Week 12 Stats: 95% Snap Share; 4 TKL (2 solo), 1 TFL, 1 SK, 3 QBH, 1 PD – 20 points

Bowser (no… not that Bowser) would be higher on my waiver priority if he had a DL designation. his tackle numbers aren’t ideal for a LB, but he has 3 sacks over the past 2 weeks, and has a juicy matchup against Big Ben (AKA Concrete Shoes). I see Bowser having a solid game as a LB3/Flex option this week, as well as Week 14 vs the Browns again.
