Hey Nerds! Week 2 is where fantasy managers can start separating real opportunity from overreactions. One week of production can dramatically change how a player is valued, creating opportunities to buy talented players whose managers are already getting impatient while selling players whose Week 1 numbers may be difficult to sustain. In this article, I’ll break down the best buy-low and sell-high targets heading into Week 2 and identify where fantasy managers should be looking to gain an advantage through trades.

Players to Buy | Week 2 Fantasy Football Trade Advice
TreVeyon Henderson | Running Back | New England Patriots
TreVeyon Henderson quietly had a very solid rookie campaign, rushing for 911 yards and 9 touchdowns while adding 221 receiving yards and another score. However, there is a buy-low opportunity for Henderson heading into Week 2.
Henderson missed the Patriots’ season opener with an ankle injury, while Rhamondre Stevenson stepped into a larger role. Henderson’s managers were already frustrated after watching him share the backfield throughout his rookie season. Henderson played just 46% of New England’s offensive snaps last season and never developed into the true bell-cow many envisioned when he was drafted. However, Stevenson was inefficient on the ground, rushing 18 times for just 51 yards. He salvaged his fantasy performance with five receptions for 44 yards. Once Henderson is healthy, he should reclaim much of the passing-down work. If Stevenson continues to struggle as a runner, Henderson could also see his rushing workload increase.
Henderson’s value on keeptradecut.com (KTC) is right around the range of Tucker Kraft, Tyler Shough, Jordyn Tyson, and Marvin Harrison Jr. I prefer Henderson to all of those players.
Colston Loveland | Tight End | Chicago Bears
No one disappointed dynasty managers more than Colston Loveland. Loveland failed to record a reception on 3 targets, despite the Chicago Bears putting up 59 points against the Carolina Panthers. However, the box score doesn’t tell the entire story. Loveland led Chicago in pass routes, and Caleb Williams missed him on a wide-open opportunity in the middle of the field and nearly connected with him in the end zone for a touchdown. David Montgomery | Running Back | Houston Texans
David Montgomery is a strong trade for candiate if you are a contender. Earlier in the offseason, I highlighted Montgomery as a trade target for contenders. Hopefully, you were already able to obtain Montgomery as his price tag has went up following his 3 touchdown performance. While I believe the price tag has increased for Montgomery, I still think he is one of the most affordable win-now pieces to add to your dynasty roster.

Mike Evans | Wide Receiver | San Francisco 49ers
Mike Evans is a strong sell-high candidate following his impressive Thursday night debut with the San Francisco 49ers. Evans caught 6 of 7 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown against the Rams, reminding fantasy managers that he can still be a difference-maker when given opportunities.
However, this performance is the perfect time to capitalize on Evans’ trade value. The concern is whether Evans can maintain consistent production throughout the season. At 33 years old, Evans enters 2026 with durability concerns after missing 12 games over the previous two seasons, and his 2025 season ended with just 30 receptions for 368 yards and three touchdowns. Evans has already dealt with a quad strain and groin/abductor tightness during training camp. If you are in a rebuild or have depth at the wide receiver position, there is an opportunity to move Evans for a 2027 second-round pick or possibly a younger, unproven receiver.
MarShawn Lloyd | Running Back | Green Bay Packers
MarShawn Lloyd was given the opportunity to finally showcase his talents for dynasty managers who drafted him. Now granted, he did face a tough Minnesota defense, but Lloyd was unimpressive. Lloyd carried the ball 13 times for 37 rushing yards and only saw 1 target in the passing game. Moving forward, Chris Brooks will still be in the running back mix, and Green Bay also may want to see what they have in Kaleb Johnson. However, I still think there is a chance to sell Lloyd for a 2027 second-round pick with the uncertainty around Josh Jacobs.
Christian Watson | Wide Receiver | Green Bay Packers
Christian Watson enters Week 2 as the WR2 overall following his impressive Week 1 performance against the Minnesota Vikings. Watson caught 6 of 8 targets for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns, finishing with 32.7 PPR fantasy points. While the performance showcased his big-play ability and upside, it also creates an opportunity to capitalize on a potentially inflated market value. Watson has battled injuries throughout his career, appearing in just 48 of a possible 68 regular-season games entering 2026, and his production has historically relied heavily on explosive plays rather than consistent production. Watson also has never surpassed 620 receiving yards in a season, with his best fantasy finish as WR41 back in his rookie season in 2022.
The Packers’ receiver room is also more crowded than Watson’s Week 1 box score suggests. Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft, and Jayden Reed remain significant parts of the offense, and Watson’s 147-yard outing included an 81-yard touchdown that accounted for more than half of his receiving yardage. Use this big game as an opportunity to trade Watson. Using the Dynasty Nerds App, I would look at a middle-of-the-road contending team and offer my 2027 second-round pick and Watson for their 2027 first.
