This week, we’re breaking down a high-volume deal packed with young talent, an established superstar on the move, and a wide receiver coming off a major injury. These three trades were submitted by Costanza_takes, Creative_Program_429, and Willing-Pain1301 over on the DynastyNerds subreddit. Trade #1 | B | Grade the Trade
26, 27, & 28 1st for Amon Ra St. Brown & 27 2nd

Costanza_takes asks, “How bout that for a reset?”
Amon-Ra St. Brown just wrapped up his 2nd-straight season as the WR3 overall—he’s basically the Energizer Bunny in shoulder pads. But with Ben Johnson gone, there’s real uncertainty around how the offense will look in 2025. So here’s the question: is cashing out for 3 future 1sts worth the production you’ll be giving up over the next 3 years while those picks (hopefully) ripen?
TEAM A | 26, 27, & 28 1st
PROs
- Draft picks only go up in value the closer they are to on the clock.
CONs
- A locked-in WR1 just walked out the door.
- It took a future ‘27 2nd to seal the deal, cutting into the return for St. Brown.
TEAM B | Amon Ra St. Brown & 27 2nd
PROs
- Solidified superstar for the now. This is a championship swing.
- Flipped future picks for points on the board today.
CONs
- Draft picks a few years out are unpredictable. That uncertainty can actually boost their value when things break the right way.
VERDICT: Team B is the Clear Winner.
Is this bad value for Amon-Ra St. Brown? Absolutely not. But context matters. If you’re nowhere near contending and this is the best offer on the table, maybe it’s time to hit the rebuild button. Three 1sts look great on paper until they’re sitting in your queue for two or three years. Time will tell, but for a contender, this is the kind of move that makes sense. And there’s a real shot the value holds strong.

Trade #2 | D | Grade the Trade
Trey McBride and Brian Thomas Jr. for Chase Brown, Xavier Worthy, Keon Coleman, Brandon Aiyuk, Tucker Kraft, and the 1.07.

Creative_Program_429 asks, “I’m new, trade this…?
Chase Brown went off for 20+ points in Week 4 and never looked back, racking up 283 touches in 2024. Xavier Worthy brought some splash plays, and Tucker Kraft had his moments too, though neither delivered with consistency. Keon Coleman flashed but couldn’t earn steady volume, seeing 2 or fewer targets in 5 of his 13 games. Brandon Aiyuk’s a question mark coming off injury. Toss in the 1.07 pick in this year’s rookie class to round out this package of a deal.
On the other side? Brian Thomas Jr. just lit up the league as a rookie, finishing as the WR4. And Trey McBride followed up his sophomore breakout with a full-on eruption, ending the year as the PPR TE2, even with just 3 touchdowns.
Team A | Chase Brown, Xavier Worthy, Keon Coleman, Brandon Aiyuk, Tucker Kraft, & 2025 1.07
PROs
- Loaded with youth and upside.
- Chase Brown showed he can handle a full workload.
- Kraft, Coleman, and Worthy all showed flashes.
CONs
- As MyDogIsACoolCat said best in the comments, “A bunch of nickels and dimes don’t equal a dollar in fantasy”.
- There’s a ton of risk being taken on here. Honestly, I can’t point to a single player in the deal that I’d feel confident starting two years from now.
Team B | Brian Thomas Jr and Trey McBride
PROs
- Young, ascending stars. Few names are hotter in dynasty this offseason with both carry top-24 startup value.
- McBride just landed a massive extension, locking him in as a focal point of the offense for years to come.
- Coen brings a pass-heavy scheme to Jacksonville and seems ready to build it around Brian Thomas Jr.
CONs
- Any downsides? Not really. These are two young stars any owner would be thrilled to build a dynasty team around.
Verdict: Team B is a Heavy Winner
There’s a ton of value flying around in this deal, no doubt. But the two best players, by a clear margin, are on one side. This is where being part of a strong fantasy community matters. Everyone in the comments said to hold Brian Thomas Jr. and Trey McBride. This is the kind of trade that can set a team back when most of the return ends up being flex-level at best by the end of 2026.

Trade #3 | A- | Grade the Trade
Brandon Aiyuk for 2025 2.10 & 27 3rd

Willing-Pain1301 traded for Aiyuk, how’d he do?
Brandon Aiyuk got the bag last offseason and was going just outside the top 12 WRs in 2024 dynasty startups. Sounded like a dream. Instead, it turned into a nightmare. The offseason drama dragged on, the season started slow, and then it all came crashing down with a torn ACL/MCL in Week 7. Just like that, the season was gone. Now? He’s getting moved for a late 2nd and a 2027 3rd.
TEAM A | Brandon Aiyuk
PROs
- Two-time, high-end WR2 finish (WR15 & WR14)
- Signed and tied to an efficient offense with an ambiguous WR room
CONs
- Coming off a major injury
TEAM B | 2.10 & 27 3rd
- 2.10 rookie draft pick is in that Mason Taylor, Jaylin Noel, and Dylan Sampson range
VERDICT: Team A is a Significant Winner
Those rookies are exciting, full of upside and potential heartbreak. Aiyuk, even coming off the injury, has a much better shot at being fantasy-relevant again than any of them have at hitting in the first place. These are the microtransactions you make regardless of roster direction. The odds of a value bounce-back with Aiyuk are simply better than betting on a rookie at peak hype.
