This Week 4 waiver wire column focuses on deep dynasty leagues, highlighting players under 50% rostered who could make an impact now or develop into valuable assets as the season progresses. Last week, we had several key quarterbacks go down with injuries, and this week it appears the running back position was hit hard by potential injuries to De’Von Achane, Travis Etienne Jr., Bucky Irving, and Breece Hall.
All rostership percentages will be based on 12-Team SF PPR dynasty leagues. Please note: At the time of this publication, all free agents were at or under 50% rostered in Sleeper dynasty leagues.

Week 4 Quarterback Waiver Wire Targets
Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum | Chicago Bears | 37% Rostership | 10-12% FAAB
With Caleb Williams already ruled out for Week 3 with a hamstring injury and facing a longer absence, Chicago now has a decision to make between Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum as to who will start on Monday. This article will be released prior to the start of the MNF game, so we will have a better understanding of which quarterback we want to roster before waivers clear.
Jalon Daniels | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 25% Rostership | 10-20% FAAB*
*Pending Baker Mayfield News
Baker Mayfield is dealing with a dislocated right thumb on his throwing hand and is set for an MRI. If Mayfield misses significant time, rookie Jalon Daniels will be thrust into a starting role. Daniels shined in the preseason and offers extra rushing upside that might help kick-start this stagnant Tampa offense. Your FAAB should depend on the news we get about Mayfield in the coming days.

Week 4 Running Back Waiver Wire Targets
Isaiah Davis | New York Jets | 37% Rostership | 8-10% FAAB
Breece Hall injured his leg and was immediately ruled out for the rest of the game against the Lions. If Hall misses significant time, Braelon Allen becomes the running back for the Jets, with Isaiah Davis becoming the backup to Allen.
AJ Dillon | Carolina Panthers | 28% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Jonathon Brooks has landed on IR, meaning AJ Dillon is now the RB2 behind Chuba Hubbard. Dillon could find his way into a goal-line role given his massive frame. Regardless, Dillon now becomes a rosterable asset.
Tyler Goodson | Dallas Cowboys | 2% Rostership | 2-5% FAAB
It was initially reported that Tyler Goodson would be a healthy scratch. Instead, it was Emari Demercado (coach’s decision) who was inactive. The RB2 behind Javonte Williams is a valuable asset, but this move was confusing, as Goodson had been a healthy scratch the first two weeks. Goodson did see 6 carries for 22 yards.
Ty Johnson | Buffalo Bills | 22% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Ty Johnson made his season debut and immediately took over as Buffalo’s RB2. Johnson caught 4 receptions for 50 yards. If anything happens to James Cook, Johnson’s value will increase; roster him now before that happens.
Kendre Miller | New Orleans Saints | 42% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Travis Etienne went to the locker room in the second half due to a hamstring injury and did not return. Alvin Kamara will benefit the most if Etienne misses time, but Kendre Miller will also be in the mix, as he had 4 carries for 14 yards while seeing 3 targets in the passing game for 2 receptions and 5 receiving yards.
Samaje Perine | Cincinnati Bengals | 44% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
I thought this would be the week for Samaje Perine to break the 50% threshold, but I was sadly wrong. I have talked enough about Perine in past articles and his value as Chase Brown’s handcuff. Hopefully, this is the last time he makes the article. Perine was shaken up late in the game, so that will be a situation to monitor.
Raheim Sanders | Cleveland Browns | 48% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
With Dylan Sampson on IR, Raheim Sanders is the RB2 in Cleveland behind Quinshon Judkins. Sanders contributed in Cleveland’s win against the Carolina Panthers with 4 receptions on 5 targets for 34 receiving yards.
Sean Tucker | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 47% Rostership | 2-5% FAAB
Bucky Irving was seen on the sideline late in Tampa Bay’s loss with an ice pack across his midsection. The injury must be somewhat worrisome, as Irving was not playing at a crucial time when Tampa Bay needed him on the field. If Irving misses time, Sean Tucker could be thrust into a bigger role with Kenny Gainwell. Tucker has shown he can be fantasy-relevant in the past when his role increases.
Sione Vaki | Detroit Lions | 25% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
The trend in this article is to make sure you roster the handcuff to the clear-cut running backs, since they are obviously not available in dynasty leagues. Sione Vaki is the clear-cut handcuff to Jahmyr Gibbs until Isiah Pacheco returns from IR.

Week 4 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Targets
Kendrick Bourne | Arizona Cardinals | 40% Rostership | 2-3% FAAB
Kendrick Bourne continues to be a thorn in the side of Marvin Harrison Jr. managers. While he has cooled off from his Week 1 production, he remains part of this offense.
Skyy Moore | Green Bay Packers | 7% Rostership | 4-6% FAAB
Skyy Moore found himself thrust into a decent-sized role on the Packers’ offense with Jayden Reed out. Moore saw 7 targets in Green Bay’s Thursday night loss to the Atlanta Falcons. As long as Reed is out, Moore could be an interesting PPR option for those in deep leagues. Late in the game, Christian Watson seemed to pull up and hop awkwardly, seemingly reaching towards his right lower leg so that is also a situation to monitor.
Brycen Tremayne | Carolina Panthers | 0% Rostership | 1-2% FAAB
Jalen Coker left Carolina’s Week 3 matchup with a quad injury and did not return. With Xavier Legette also injured, the Carolina receiver room is bare outside of Tet McMillan. While I expect Darren Waller to be the main benefactor of the injuries, Brycen Tremayne did lead Carolina receivers in targets (6), receptions (4), and yards (82) making him a name to monitor.
Jordan Watkins | San Francisco 49ers | 1% Rostership | 2-3% FAAB
The San Francisco electrical substation claimed its next victim, as Mike Evans was carted off the field with a rib injury. George Kittle and Deebo Samuel will be the obvious beneficiaries, but other wide receivers who could benefit include Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing, and/or Brandin Cooks, who was recently signed to the 49ers’ practice squad. Watkins had 2 receptions for 60 yards in San Francisco’s Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The way the injuries have piled up with San Francisco, it wouldn’t hurt to put a claim on all three and see who you end up with.
Roman Wilson | Pittsburgh Steelers | 46% Rostership | 4-6% FAAB
Roman Wilson continues to have a connection with Aaron Rodgers. Wilson had the best fantasy day among Steelers receivers with 3 receptions on 6 targets for 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. This also makes 3 straight games for Wilson seeing 6 targets.

Week 4 Tight End Waiver Wire Targets
Greg Dulcich | Miami Dolphins | 47% Rostership | 4-6% FAAB
Starting tight ends are valuable, especially in tight end premium leagues. Greg Dulcich is coming off his best game of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dulcich saw 7 targets, catching 5 receptions for 55 receiving yards.
Noah Fant | New Orleans Saints | 22% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
If you miss out on Greg Dulcich, pivot to Noah Fant. While I would not break the bank to add him, Fant is a touchdown-dependent option. Luckily, Fant has 3 touchdowns on the season on 8 receptions. I would also look at the list below of over 50% rostered tight ends for other options.
Over 50% Rostered | Week 4 Fantasy Football
Other players who are great waiver wire additions but have over 50% rostership include: Braelon Allen, Keenan Allen, Jacoby Brissett, Chris Brooks, Demond Claiborne, Keon Coleman, Kirk Cousins, Ryan Flournoy, Pat Freiermuth, Mike Gesicki, Ollie Gordon, Najee Harris, Tre Harris, Justice Hill, George Holani, Mack Hollins, Tory Horton, Ted Hurst, Xavier Hutchinson, Kaleb Johnson, Daniel Jones, Cooper Kupp, Marcus Mariota, Michael Mayer, Seth McGowan, Keaton Mitchell, Jaylin Noel, Cade Otton, Michael Penix, Brian Robinson, Aaron Rodgers, Chris Rodriguez, Geno Smith, Isaac TeSlaa, Tyquan Thornton, Malik Washington, Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston, and Jaylen Wright
