Week 6 Quarterback Waiver Wire Targets
Case Keenum | Chicago Bears | 21% Rostership | 6-8% FAAB
Caleb Williams has a chance to return in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. If he is unable to, Case Keenum might return to starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears after Tyson Bagent was benched in favor of Keenum in Chicago’s Week 5 loss to Green Bay. In Week 6, Chicago gets a favorable matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who currently have the 30th-ranked pass defense going into Week 5.
Tyler Huntley | Baltimore Ravens | 38% Rostership | 6-8% FAAB
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said Lamar Jackson’s status for Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns is unknown, which could mean Huntley is called into another spot start.

Week 6 Running Back Waiver Wire Targets
Austin Ekeler | Washington Commanders | 44% Rostership | 4-6% FAAB
Austin Ekeler re-joined the Commanders last week and joins a crowded Commanders backfield. Ekeler is worth a stash in deep leagues, since he will have a role, but he’ll be a high-risk play week to week if all three running backs are healthy.
Tyler Goodson | Dallas Cowboys | 14% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Tyler Goodson is the RB2 in Dallas, and I stress weekly how valuable handcuffs are, especially to clear bell-cow backs like Javonte Williams. Goodson needs to be rostered. Some will argue that it is Hunter Luepke, but since Goodson joined the team in Week 3, Goodson has seen 66% more rush attempts than Luepke.
Roschon Johnson | Chicago Bears | 48% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
In Week 5, with Kyle Monangai out with a toe injury, Roschon Johnson handled backup duties for D’Andre Swift. Johnson had 5 carries for 6 yards and 5 receptions on 6 targets for 34 receiving yards. As long as Monangai is out of the lineup, Johnson needs to be rostered.
Corey Kiner | New England Patriots | 4% Rostership | 4-6% FAAB
TreVeyon Henderson went down with what could be a serious ankle injury in the second quarter. While much of Corey Kiner’s work came in garbage time, Kiner could work as the Patriots’ no. 2 behind Rhamondre Stevenson if Henderson’s ankle injury is severe.
Dare Ogunbowale | Houston Texans | 0% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
David Montgomery was ruled out with a groin injury in Houston’s win over the Tennessee Titans. Woody Marks got the full workload with Montgomery gone. If Montgomery misses time, it should not be expected that Marks gets the entire backfield carries, making Dare Ogunbowale the next man up after being signed off the Raiders’ practice squad.
Samaje Perine | Cincinnati Bengals | 45% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Well, since Week 1, I have preached about rostering Samaje Perine, and week after week, he remains below 50% rostered. After Week 5, I think that will finally change. Perine served in his usual backup role, but led the Bengals backfield with 14 carries for 68 yards and caught a 6-yard touchdown.
Dameon Pierce | Philadelphia Eagles | 32 % Rostership | 5-7% FAAB
Injuries continue to mount for the Philadelphia Eagles’ running back room. Will Shipley suffered a foot injury in the second quarter and did not return to the game. Dameon Pierce handled the rest of the rushing duties in Shipley’s absence. If Saquon Barkley is not able to return in Week 6, Pierce will be my priority add at running back. I also make speculative waiver adds on Jaydon Blue and Carson Steele.
Sione Vaki | Detroit Lions | 28% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
Sione Vaki is the clear handcuff to Jahmyr Gibbs. Gibbs’ managers need to roster Vaki in the event something happens to Gibbs.

Week 6 Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Targets
Isaiah Bond | Cleveland Browns | 35% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Isaiah Bond led the Browns in receiving yards while tying for the most targets with seven. Bond saw additional opportunities after a scary hit to KC Concepcion. If Concepcion is unable to clear the league’s concussion protocol, Bond would be in play for increased playing time.
Kendrick Bourne | Arizona Cardinals | 47% Rostership | 6-8% FAAB
Kendrick Bourne should have immediate fantasy relevance, as the team is now finalizing a trade of Marvin Harrison Jr to the Houston Texans. The biggest factor holding back Bourne this year was his position as WR3 on the depth chart, but now that Harrison is being traded, Bourne will move to WR2. Bourne will be my priority add at wide receiver.
Josh Cameron | Jacksonville Jaguars | 36% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Josh Cameron continues to see his role grow early in his rookie season. After catching 2 touchdowns through his first 3 games, Cameron hit another milestone in Week 4 with a career-high 42 receiving yards. He has now played at least 33% of the offensive snaps in 4 of his 5 games so far and saw a career-high 6 targets in Jacksonville’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Efton Chism | New England Pariots | 39% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
Efton Chism followed up his Week 4 performance by leading the team in targets with 6, which he turned into a nice double-digit PPR performance. With Mack Hollins on injured reserve and A.J. Brown out for at least one more game, Chism is in line for an increased role in the Patriots’ offense.
Darius Cooper | Philadelphia Eagles | 44% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
While DeVonta Smith has been out of the lineup due to injury, Darius Cooper has shined. Cooper has had back-to-back weeks with touchdown receptions and has 4 touchdowns in his past 4 games. Cooper will warrant some consideration if Smith remains out for Week 6 against the Panthers
DeMario Douglas | New England Patriots | 49% Rostership | 3-5% FAAB
DeMario Douglas just barely makes the list at 49% rostered. Douglas had a good Week 5, catching 2 touchdowns on 5 targets. Just like Chism, Douglas is in line for an increased role in the Patriots’ offense.

Week 6 Tight End Waiver Wire Targets
Gavin Bartholomew | Minnesota Vikings | 0% Rostership | 1-3% FAAB
TJ Hockenson left very early in Minnesota’s win over the New Orleans Saints with a concussion. Gavin Bartholomew took over the starting role, catching 5 receptions for 33 receiving yards. Minnesota is on a bye next week, but with Josh Oliver on injured reserve, Bartholomew is worth a stash; just don’t break the bank to acquire him.
Greg Dulcich | Miami Dolphins | 46% Rostership | 2-4% FAAB
Starting tight ends need to be rostered in tight-end premium leagues, even if they play for the Miami Dolphins.
Over 50% Rostered | Week 6 Fantasy Football
Other players who are great waiver wire additions but have over 50% rostership include: Keenan Allen, Jacoby Brissett, Demond Claiborne, Jalon Daniels, Evan Engram, Ryan Flournoy, Pat Freiermuth, Mike Gesicki, Najee Harris, Justice Hill, George Holani, Xavier Hutchinson, Michael Mayer, J.J. McCarthy, Seth McGowan, Kendre Miller, Darnell Mooney, Jaylin Noel, Chig Okonkwo, Cade Otton, Michael Penix, Eli Raridon, Aaron Rodgers, Raheim Sanders, Will Shipley, Geno Smith, Tyrone Tracy, Deshaun Watson, Kyle Williams, Malik Willis, and Jameis Winston
