Week 4 Deep Dynasty Waiver Wire Adds

Week 3 is over, so now it is time to prepare for Week 4. @JSnake_DFF brings you 6 players you should add in your dynasty league with 2 of them being rostered in less than 1% of MFL leagues.

Luckily, we did not have many catastrophic injuries in Week 3, but it is always important to look ahead and add players who may help with bye weeks starting in Week 5. In this article, I will go through six players that are dynasty adds to stash on your bench!

J.J. Taylor, New England Patriots

Rostered in 11% of MFL Leagues (5-15% of FAAB)

I have already talked about J.J. Taylor in my Week 2 deep dynasty waiver wire adds article, so you should have already added him! J.J. Taylor is making another appearance because he is only rostered in 11% of MFL leagues.

Taylor has continued to be on the field during the last three weeks and had a 21.7% snap share, with 28.6% of the RB opportunity share in Week 3. He did not get many targets, but he had more attempts than any other RB on the Patriots (including Sony Michel). I will admit that part of the reason J.J. Taylor has had an increased workload is that James White has been inactive for the last 2 weeks. But J.J. Taylor is getting work as a rookie, which is a big deal on the Patriots. Grab him before it is too late!

Robert Tonyan, Green Bay Packers

Rostered in 19% of MFL leagues (10-15% FAAB)

Robert Tonyan is the TE to roster on the Packers. In Week 2, Tonyan had 5 receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. He scored 16 PPR points and is the TE4 (not including Monday night football). Tonyan was also tied for 4th in TE receptions in Week 3.

I would roster Tonyan over Sternberger right now. Also, in Week 3, Tonyan was the 2nd most targeted player by Rodgers. For a TE needy team, Tonyan is gold on the waiver wire!

Brett Rypien, Denver Broncos

Rostered in 0% of MFL Leagues (5-15% of FAAB in SF or 2QB)

Brett Rypien came out of nowhere. I was certain Driskel would have the job with Drew Lock hurt, but Driskel was benched for Rypien in the 4th quarter. Rypien needs to be rostered in all Superflex and 2QB leagues. Rypien played well and was 8 for 9, but he did have an interception.

Fangio put Rypien in the game because he wanted to get a new guy in there and see if he “could get it out of his hand quicker.” I lean that Rypien will start the game versus the Jets on Thursday night football, so if I am a QB needy team, I would spend 15% of my FAAB on Rypien.

Dontrelle Inman, Washington Football Team

Rostered in 5% of MFL leagues (5-12% of FAAB)

Dontrelle Inman is a pure upside add for dynasty teams. In Week 3, Inman was tied for 3rd in targets behind Logan Thomas and Terry McLaurin. Also, Inman had 2 red zone TDs last week and had more red zone targets than Terry McLaurin. Inman did leave the game with a hand injury, but he had an x-ray, and it showed that nothing in his hand was fractured. Inman is in a similar boat to Logan Thomas because we do not know who the #2 option is on the team, so Inman is worth adding in most leagues!

Tim Patrick, Denver Broncos

Rostered in 12% of MFL leagues (5-12% of FAAB) (3 targets out of 9 from Rypien)

Tim Patrick has been the WR3 for the Broncos over the last 2 weeks. Patrick played well in Week 3 and had 4 receptions (4 targets) for 43 yards and a touchdown. As I mentioned above, Driskel was benched in the fourth quarter, and three of Rypien’s nine attempts went to Tim Patrick. Rypien only played one drive, but a 33% target share to Patrick by the potential new starting QB is why I would add Patrick in dynasty. Patrick has flex potential when bye weeks hit.

Cedrick Wilson, Dallas Cowboys

Rostered in 0% of MFL leagues (1-5% of FAAB)

Wilson had a fantastic Week 3, and he was the WR5 (without Monday Night Football) overall. Now, how much weekly upside does Wilson have? Honestly, Wilson does not have a lot because he is the WR4 behind Amari Cooper, Ceedee Lamb, and Michael Gallup. Still, if an injury happens to any of the WRs on the Cowboys, Wilson could be a weekly WR3 if not higher. I would not spend a lot of FAAB for Wilson, but he is an excellent high upside bench stash!
