Bottom of the Barrel – Week 10 IDP Waiver Wire Adds

We’re over the hump now! Now is when teams start making a push for playoff contention! Several NFL teams have also made some drastic changes to their lineups. Here are some players to look at adding to your rosters!

All of the suggested players are assuming you’re using IDP123 scoring or something very close to that.

Week 9 Waiver Recap

Malik Reed  OUT with a hip injury

Jonathon Cooper – Monster game in a dominant victory over the Cowboys. 90% snap share, 4 TKL (3 solo), 2 TFL, 2 SK, 2 QBH (25 pts)

TJ Edwards – Edwards appears to be “the guy” in Philly… for now. 96% snap share, 12 TKL (5 solo) (17 pts).

Davion Taylor – Solid week as the team’s LB2. 71% snap share, 8 TKL (6 solo), 1 TFL (16 pts)

Monty Rice – Jayon Brown returned to action. Rice relegated to special teams.

Week 10 Adds

Markus Golden – DL,LB – Cardinals

Week 9 Stats: 47% Snap Share; 5 TKL (3 solo), 3 TFL, 3 Sack, 3 QBH – 35 points

Golden’s snap share is a little lower than I’d like to see, but he has 9 sacks on the year… 7 in the past 4 weeks. He’s filling in for JJ Watt, so keep an eye on his return to affect Golden’s playing time.

Josh Bynes – LB – Ravens

Week 9 Stats: 83% Snap Share; 11 TKL (8 solo), 1 TFL, 1 PD – 24 points

The Ravens are a team, like the Eagles, who are looking to solidify their identity at the linebacking positions. Patrick Queen has all but disappeared. Josh Bynes has now gotten the lion’s share of LB snaps for the past three weeks (77, 73, 83% respectively), and has had solid production from a fantasy standpoint.

Baron Browning – LB – Broncos

Week 9 Stats: 100% Snap Share; 6 TKL (4 solo), 1 QBH – 11 points

A modest fantasy output, but Browning was the only Broncos ILB to be on the field for the entire game. Kenny Young was only on the field for 66% of defensive snaps. I imagine with last week’s team success, the Broncos will keep running with what they put on the field in Week 9.

Erik Harris – LB,DB – Falcons

Week 9 Stats: 100% Snap Share; 8 TKL (7 solo) – 15 points

I have been holding on to this player… not because I want to keep him a secret, but because I think I’m still mad Richie Grant didn’t win the starting job over him. Harris has been surprisingly productive in fantasy (double-digit points in all but the week he was out). He currently sits at 100 total points for the year… only 4 points behind preseason DB1, Jamal Adams. He has dual designation, and is good for at least 10 points if you’re in a pinch. He can also pop off for a huge game, but it always comes as a surprise.

Elijah Molden – DB – Titans

Week 9 Stats: 82% Snap Share; 8 TKL (6 solo) – 14 points

Molden has averaged 85% snap share since Kristian Fulton went down in week 6 with a hamstring injury. In that time, he’s also averaged 16.5 PPG. He’s a rookie worth adding, but watch out for Fulton’s return, as it might impact his playing time.

Honorable Mention

Caden Sterns – DB – Broncos

Sterns is a rookie who is getting at most 17 snaps a game (117 total snaps). In those 117 snaps, he has recorded 2 sacks and 2 INTs. So… while I don’t see him producing anything consistent unless Simmons or Jackson go down with an injury, he’s someone I’m looking to add in deeper leagues because I see him being a starting safety next year at the latest.
