Dynasty Stock Watch

Jonah Coleman | RB | Trending Up

Rookie running back Jonah Coleman is emerging as a potential dynasty breakout after taking control of the Broncos backfield following RJ Harvey’s injury and J.K. Dobbins’ struggles. In Week 8, Coleman dominated with a 66% snap share, producing over 100 all-purpose yards and a touchdown against a tough Chiefs defense. With a favorable rest-of-season schedule, Coleman has the opportunity to become a difference-maker for fantasy managers down the stretch. His growing role and long-term upside could send his dynasty value soaring, making him a priority trade target before his price increases. However, rumors linking Jonathan Taylor to Denver could create one final buying window for dynasty managers looking to acquire Coleman at a discount.

Justin Jefferson | WR | Trending Down

Justin Jefferson has been a frustrating asset for dynasty managers this season, finishing with fewer than 10 fantasy points in 3 of his 6 games while struggling to develop chemistry with Kyler Murray. Jefferson is averaging just 9 fantasy points per game with Murray at quarterback, raising concerns about his ability to produce elite numbers in this offense. Dynasty managers could benefit from waiting another week or two to see if his struggles continue, potentially creating an even better buying window. However, Jefferson remains one of the NFL’s most talented receivers, and an improved quarterback situation could quickly restore his elite fantasy production. For rebuilding teams or contenders looking beyond 2026, buying low on Jefferson could be one of the smartest dynasty moves before his market value rebounds.

Toughest Strength of Schedule Week (10 to 14)

We’re introducing a new series to our Weekend Checklist, focusing on strength of schedule and how it can help fantasy managers make a playoff push. We’ve compiled a wide range of advanced statistics, including fantasy points allowed, yards after contact (YACO), defensive coverage tendencies, coverage strengths and weaknesses, and several other key metrics to evaluate favorable matchups between fantasy players and opposing defenses.

Quarterbacks

Unfavorable Week 10–14 Matchups
Matthew Stafford Kirk Cousins Aaron Rodgers Michael Penix Jr. Dak Prescott
Kyler Murray Tyler Shough Bryce Young Malik Willis Justin Herbert

Matthew Stafford

The Rams quarterback may be difficult to move because of his age. You may have to sell him for less than you would expect for a top-tier quarterback, but that’s dynasty. Matthew Stafford gets an easy matchup against the Cardinals before heading into his bye week. After that, he faces 3 teams that rank inside the top 10 in limiting fantasy points to quarterbacks: the Chiefs, Packers, and 49ers. Stafford also faces 3 teams that primarily play zone defense, a concern considering his low QB rating against zone coverage this season.

Kirk Cousins

This may be an obvious sell during this stretch, as the Raiders could make the switch to their rookie quarterback during this timeframe. Cousins faces several teams that allow the fewest fantasy points to the quarterback position. You may want to move on from Cousins if you are hoping for a strong QB2 to help you reach the fantasy playoffs.

Tyler Shough

Tyler Shough may be difficult to sell right now after some poor outings, and he faces a tough Browns defense in Week 9. On the road to the fantasy playoffs, Shough faces 3 teams that run plenty of zone coverage. Shough has struggled against zone this season, posting an 81.8 QB rating against that coverage.

Running Backs

Unfavorable Week 10–14 Matchups
Cam Skattebo Woody Marks Javonte Williams Christian McCaffrey
Tony Pollard David Montgomery Omarion Hampton Jeremiyah Love / Tyler Allgeier

Tony Pollard

Tony Pollard has to be one of the biggest sell-high candidates based on what you could get in return after some dominant performances before the bye week. Now is a great time to start trade discussions involving Pollard. He has some difficult matchups on the road to the fantasy playoffs, including games against the Jaguars and Commanders, who have been strong against fantasy running backs. I don’t expect the Titans to continue operating as an elite rushing offense, and they could be forced to throw the ball more often against pass-heavy teams like Jacksonville, Dallas, and Detroit during that stretch.

Tyler Allgeier

While I’ll surprise you with some early playoff talk, the Cardinals have a great rushing schedule during the fantasy playoffs, but getting there could be difficult. They face the Rams, Chiefs, and Commanders during that stretch and also have an important Week 14 bye. Allgeier should see a significant workload over the next few weeks with Jeremiyah Love on IR until likely the fantasy playoffs. You may even want to make that trade before Sunday arrives.

Woody Marks/David Montgomery

The Houston backfield continues to be a weak position for fantasy running backs. They start this stretch with 2 favorable matchups against the Browns and Colts but finish with difficult matchups against the Ravens, Steelers, and Commanders. This may be more of a sell-low situation, considering the current fantasy value of Houston’s running backs.

Wide Receivers

Unfavorable Week 10–14 Matchups
Mike Evans DJ Moore Tre Tucker Jordan Addison Omar Cooper Alec Pierce DK Metcalf Adonai Mitchell
Deebo Samuel Khalil Shakir Devaughn Vele Caleb Douglas Antonio Williams George Pickens Keenan Allen Jameson Williams

DK Metcalf

DK Metcalf may be a sell-low type of receiver, especially as we approach the fantasy playoffs. He has 3 unfavorable matchups for wide receivers and 2 favorable ones. It’s a decent split, but the issue is that Metcalf faces teams that have been dominant against receivers who line up out wide, which could be a problem for him. Metcalf has finished with fewer than 60 receiving yards in 5 of his 7 games this season. He will turn 29 by the end of this stretch, which could make him even harder to sell if his struggles continue.

Tre Tucker

The veteran receiver has been solid this year, but he faces a tough schedule over the next 5 weeks. He has 2 extremely difficult matchups against the Seahawks and Broncos and will also have his bye week during this stretch. As mentioned with Kirk Cousins, a potential switch to Fernando Mendoza could hurt Tucker if it happens during this stretch.

Khalil Shakir

The veteran receiver is someone to avoid over the next 5 weeks. Shakir, who plays the majority of his snaps in the slot, faces 3 teams that allow the fewest fantasy points to slot receivers. He also faces the Patriots, a team he has struggled against throughout his career. As we get deeper into the colder months, we could see the Bills lean more heavily on their ground game, which could further limit Shakir’s fantasy production.

Tight end

Unfavorable Week 10–14 Matchups
George Kittle Brenton Strange AJ Barner Juwan Johnson
Jake Ferguson Tyler Warren Chig Okonkwo Dalton Kincaid

Jake Ferguson

You may not even be able to move Jake Ferguson, but perhaps you assume he has been so unproductive that now would be a good time to buy low. In terms of dynasty value, sure, but if you’re looking for someone to help you reach the fantasy playoffs, the answer is no. Ferguson faces 4 teams that rank inside the top 10 in limiting fantasy points to tight ends: the 49ers, Titans, Eagles, and Seahawks. If that isn’t enough, he also has a Week 14 bye. Ferguson is more of a player to avoid in dynasty right now if you’re trying to make a playoff push.

Brenton Strange

Brenton Strange has been pretty solid this year, not bad but not great. The issue with Strange is that other tight ends are seeing plenty of opportunities to score, while he has managed just 1 touchdown this season. Strange begins this stretch with 3 difficult matchups against teams that have been tough on fantasy tight ends. He also faces more teams that play heavy man coverage, which is another concern considering Strange has been just average against that coverage this season.

Tyler Warren

Tyler Warren isn’t a sell by any means in dynasty, but if you’re relying on him as your starting tight end, you may want to find some additional help. Warren has struggled due to poor quarterback play and injuries this season. He faces 3 tough matchups and has a bye week during this stretch. The question is, at what point do the Colts decide to bench Daniel Jones in favor of Anthony Richardson or Riley Leonard to shake things up? It could be a rough stretch for the young tight end.

2027 Rookie Prospects to Watch

To learn about more 2027 rookie prospects, check out our latest rookie big board.

Deuce Alexander | WR | Ole Miss

Vs Georgia | 7:30p | Saturday, Nov 7th

Deuce Alexander faces a major test against Georgia, which boasts one of the top-ranked secondaries in the nation. Alexander has performed well against top-25 opponents this season, but facing an elite Georgia defense will present a different challenge. He is also dealing with a touchdown drought, having failed to find the end zone in each of his last 3 games.

What we want to see from Alexander is his ability to take over this game against elite competition and perform like one of the top wide receivers in college football. One of the biggest things to watch is how he handles press coverage against talented defensive backs. Can he consistently win at the line of scrimmage, create separation, and make contested catches? A dominant performance against Georgia would go a long way toward showcasing his potential as a future NFL receiver.

CJ Carr | QB | Notre Dame

Vs Miami | 7:30p | Saturday, Nov 7th

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr is having a fantastic junior season and is generating top-10 NFL Draft buzz for the 2027 class. Carr will face his biggest test of the season in Week 10 against top-ranked Miami. The Hurricanes boast an elite secondary that anchors the nation’s No. 1 overall defense. This matchup will be a major opportunity for Carr to solidify himself as a potential top-10 pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.

What we want to see from Carr is his ability to perform against elite competition, something he struggled with against BYU a few weeks ago. He needs to demonstrate better poise under pressure, make accurate throws into tight windows, and avoid costly mistakes. A strong performance against Miami would go a long way toward proving Carr can elevate his game against top-tier opponents and strengthen his draft stock.

Jabari Bates | RB | San Jose State

Vs Northern Illinois | 4:00p | Saturday, Nov 7th

Jabari Bates is a lower-tier deep sleeper running back I like for the 2027 NFL Draft class. Bates has put together some solid performances this season but has struggled to get going over the past two weeks. He now faces Northern Illinois, a defense that has struggled mightily against the run, allowing 256 rushing yards per game. This is the perfect matchup for Bates to get back on track and showcase his potential.

What we want to see from Bates is a return to a workload of at least 20 touches. He needs to run efficiently, take advantage of a vulnerable run defense, and show off his ability to create explosive plays. Most importantly, we’d like to see him find the end zone, something he has struggled to do consistently this season. A strong performance could help Bates regain some momentum and generate more interest in his 2027 draft outlook.

Week 9 Dynasty Storyline

Has Kenyon Sadiq lost his opportunity in New York?

First-round pick Kenyon Sadiq has not gotten off to a fast fantasy start to his NFL career, which could be concerning for dynasty managers who expected him to come out of the gates quickly. However, if you look at some advanced stats, Sadiq has actually been the Jets most efficient tight end. He is averaging 6.18 yards after the catch and leads all Jets tight ends in YPRR and TPRR against both man and zone coverage. Unfortunately, he is running routes on just 41% of the team’s dropbacks and has a 10% target share, which has limited his rookie production. Mason Taylor has been the better pass blocker, allowing him to maintain a 53% route participation rate this season.

Tight ends drafted in the 1st round have a 90% hit rate of producing at least 1 TE1 season. While that breakout may not come during Sadiq’s rookie year, he isn’t completely losing opportunities, as he continues to maintain a snap share rate around 40%. If you’re a rebuilding dynasty team, this is the perfect time to buy low on Kenyon Sadiq. The Jets offense could be heading toward better days in future seasons, especially if they can find a quarterback with elite upside. We’ve already seen flashes of Sadiq’s potential back in Week 3, so don’t let his mediocre fantasy production since then turn you away. He may not be one of those rookie tight ends who dominates immediately, but he remains a valuable long-term dynasty asset who should eventually break out.
