Lamar Jackson is expected to return in Week 8 against the Bills, who have allowed 2 or more passing touchdowns and 260 passing yards in 5 of their 6 games.
Dak Prescott should be able to produce against the Cardinals despite his struggles against zone coverage. Arizona allows the most fantasy point opportunities to quarterbacks and has allowed 2 or more passing touchdowns in 5 of its last 7 games.

Drake Maye should be able to provide an elite fantasy floor against the Dolphins, who have allowed 2 or more passing touchdowns in 5 of their last 6 games.
Expect some high passing yardage from Joe Burrow, who faces a Titans team that has allowed 260 passing yards in 3 straight games.

Jared Goff seems like he is going to have a tough matchup against the Vikings, but they run the 2nd-most zone coverage and blitz at the highest rate in the NFL. Goff has a top-10 quarterback rating against both zone coverage and the blitz this year.
Jordan Love may struggle on Thursday Night Football, as the Panthers have allowed 1 or fewer passing touchdowns in 4 of their last 5 games.
Caleb Williams will need to score some touchdowns if he wants to maintain his fantasy success because the Seahawks have not allowed an opposing quarterback to throw for over 200 passing yards this year.
Jacoby Brissett may be able to push the ball downfield more against the Cowboys, who have allowed the highest explosive play percentage in the NFL.

Sam Darnold has a positive matchup against the Bears, who run the 4th-most man coverage in the NFL. Darnold has a high quarterback rating against man coverage, and the Bears have allowed 2 or more passing touchdowns in 3 straight games.
Kyler Murray may be able to get going this week against the Lions, who have allowed 280 passing yards and 2 touchdowns in 4 straight games.
Kirk Cousins could struggle a bit if the Jets can pressure him more, as he has struggled against pressure this season. The Jets generate pressure at the 2nd-highest rate in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers may have had success against the Browns in their previous matchup, but this could be a much tougher test. Cleveland runs the highest rate of man coverage in the league, and Rodgers has struggled against man coverage this season.
Tanner McKee struggled to handle the blitz last week, and things may not get any easier in Week 8. He now faces a Commanders defense that blitzes at the 2nd-highest rate in the NFL.
Malik Willis faces a difficult matchup against the Patriots, who utilize man coverage at the 2nd-highest rate in the league. Willis has struggled against man coverage this season, which could make it difficult for him to find success through the air.
Bo Nix could be at risk of throwing an interception in Week 8 against the Chiefs. Kansas City has forced at least 1 interception in every game this season, making this a challenging matchup for Nix.
Geno Smith could be a sneaky sleeper option in Week 8 against the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed at least 2 passing touchdowns in 5 consecutive games.

Ken Walker should be able to bounce back this week against the Broncos, who allow the most yards after contact. Walker ranks inside the top 20 in YACO this season.
Jahmyr Gibbs faces an elite Vikings defense, but they have allowed a rushing touchdown in 3 straight games and 90 rushing yards in 2 of their last 3 games.
Kyren Williams should have a strong outing against the Chargers, who have allowed a rushing touchdown in 4 straight games and 80 rushing yards in 3 of their last 4 games.

Javonte Williams should do well against the Cardinals, who allow the 7th-most yards per carry against man/gap schemes. Williams has had great success running in a man/gap scheme this season.
Josh Jacobs should thrive on Thursday Night Football against the Panthers, who allowed over 200 rushing yards last week. Carolina has also allowed a rushing touchdown in 3 straight weeks.
Derrick Henry should return to form with Lamar Jackson back on the field, as Henry has averaged 21 fantasy points per game with Jackson playing.

Expect a Chuba Hubbard bounce-back performance against the Packers, who have allowed a rushing touchdown in 6 of their 7 games this year.
Rhamondre Stevenson should do well against the Dolphins, who have allowed a 65-yard rusher in 4 straight games and 4 receptions to a running back in 4 of their 6 games.
Jeremiyah Love is questionable for Week 8 and would be slotted into this range if he plays this week.
Despite Jaylen Warren losing some touches to Rico Dowdle, he still has an elite matchup against the Browns, who have allowed an 80-yard rusher in 5 of their last 6 games.

Ollie Gordon should continue to be featured in Miami’s offense and find success against the Patriots, who have allowed a 70-yard rusher and a rushing touchdown in 4 straight games.
D’Andre Swift could be a bust this week, as the Seahawks have allowed just 1 running back to rush for over 60 yards this year.
Breece Hall is expected to return this week. If he doesn’t play, slot Braelon Allen into Tier 4 for the week.
Chase Brown could find success against the Titans, who have allowed a 70-yard rusher with a touchdown in 3 of their last 4 games. They have also allowed at least 20 receiving yards to a running back in 4 straight games.

Quinshon Judkins has had some recent success, but the Steelers have not allowed a rusher to surpass 55 yards in 4 straight games.
If Saquon Barkley plays in Week 8, he would be a risky start, as we saw in Week 7 that he is not 100%, which could limit his time on the field.
The Bengals allow the 2nd-highest explosive run percentage, and Tony Pollard had some big runs last week, so there is some upside to starting Pollard as a FLEX option.
If Braelon Allen gets the start, he’ll have a favorable matchup, and you may want to take the chance on playing him even with Breece Hall back. The Raiders allow the most yards before contact, and Hall ranks near the top among running backs in YBCO.

Kenneth Gainwell could have some sleeper appeal in PPR leagues, as the Falcons have allowed 6 or more receptions to opposing backfields in 3 of their last 4 games.
Dylan Sampson could have some PPR value as well, as the Steelers have allowed 30 or more receiving yards to opposing backfields in 3 of their last 4 games.
I’m not sure if Zach Charbonnet will return in Week 8, but if he does, it will likely be a split backfield. However, it’s unclear how many carries he will receive. If he misses another game, Emanuel Wilson would certainly jump into Tier 4.
As mentioned previously, the Browns have allowed plenty of rushing yards to opposing backfields, so Rico Dowdle may be worth starting if you’re desperate for a running back.

Depending on how Saquon Barkley’s injury progresses over the next few days, Elijah Mitchell or Jaydon Blue could be called upon to lead the backfield in Week 8.
J.K. Dobbins is likely a sit in a tougher matchup, as the Chiefs allow the fewest yards before contact. Dobbins has not been great at gaining yards after contact and is also losing work to Jonah Coleman.
This looks like a 4-catch, 50-yard type of game for Ty Johnson against another high-scoring offense in the Ravens.
Kyle Monangai looks like he could return in Week 8, but Seattle has been tough against running backs, ranking top 5 in limiting missed tackles forced, explosive runs, and yards before contact.

Keep your eyes on the Cardinals’ backfield, with Jeremiyah Love and Tyler Allgeier dealing with injuries. Bam Knight could get the spot start and would likely move up to Tier 5.
Jeremy McNichols’ first game back was interesting, and you have to wonder if he’ll see an increase in opportunities. Plus, the Eagles allow the 4th-most yards after contact.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba should have another elite game, as the Bears have allowed a receiver to surpass 80 yards and score a touchdown in all 3 of their road games.
The Titans have allowed a receiver to surpass 80 yards in 3 of their last 4 games, making Ja’Marr Chase an elite play this week.

Zay Flowers should have a strong chance to score in a potential shootout, as the Bills have allowed multiple receiving touchdowns in 3 straight games.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is someone you may want to lower your expectations for, as the Vikings have allowed just 2 receivers to surpass 60 yards in their last 5 games.
CeeDee Lamb faces the Cardinals, who have allowed an 80-yard receiver in all 4 of their road games this season.

Parker Washington should see plenty of opportunities against the Colts, who have allowed the 2nd-most slot targets in the NFL. Washington runs 42% of his routes from the slot.
Matthew Golden has a favorable matchup for opportunities, as the Panthers allow the 2nd-most targets to outside receivers in the league. Golden runs the majority of his routes on the outside.

DK Metcalf has a favorable matchup against the Browns, who have allowed a 60-yard receiver in 5 straight games.
DeVonta Smith and DJ Moore are both questionable for Week 8, but if they both play, I’d start them in their solid matchups.
Stefon Diggs is hopefully fully healthy and ready to go against the Eagles, who have allowed a WR1 finish in 5 straight games.
Luther Burden faces the Seahawks, who run the most zone coverage in the NFL. Burden could see a boost, as he has a higher TPRR and YPRR against zone coverage.

Tre Tucker has scored 3 touchdowns over the last 2 weeks and faces a Jets team that has allowed a touchdown to a receiver in 6 of its 7 games.
Keenan Allen may provide a nice fantasy floor this week, as the Jaguars have allowed multiple receivers to surpass 60 receiving yards in 3 straight games.
Jameson Williams is a fade this week, as the Vikings have been tough against fantasy wide receivers.
I’d lean toward KC Concepcion over Denzel Boston despite what happened in their last matchup, as the Steelers run the 7th-most zone coverage in the NFL. Concepcion is being targeted more per route run against zone coverage.
Carnell Tate has a favorable matchup against the Bengals, who run the 2nd-most man coverage in the NFL. Tate has shown that he sees more targets and yardage opportunities against zone coverage.

We could see a switch in production this week for the Dolphins receivers. The Patriots run the 2nd-most man coverage in the league. Malik Washington tends to see more targets and better yardage against man coverage, while Caleb Douglas has struggled to find opportunities against man coverage.
Wan’Dale Robinson could see more opportunities against the Browns, who run the most man coverage in the league. Robinson tends to see more opportunities against man coverage.
The Eagles allow the 2nd-most fantasy points to slot receivers, and like Stefon Diggs, Antonio Williams runs about half of his routes from the slot. He could be a good sleeper this week.
Khalil Shakir also has some sleeper potential in a possible shootout, as the Ravens allow the 5th-most fantasy points to slot receivers, and Shakir is the team’s primary slot receiver.
Ladd McConkey could have an easier matchup, as the Rams’ secondary seems to have fallen apart a bit. They have allowed a receiver to surpass 80 yards in 2 of their last 3 games.
Chris Godwin has consistently averaged 5.5 receptions for 62 yards against the Falcons in 6 of their last 7 matchups.
Makai Lemon is one to watch if DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks miss another game, as the Commanders have allowed a 90-yard receiver in 3 of their last 4 games.

Don’t look to Jahan Dotson as a sleeper, as the Buccaneers run the 3rd-most zone coverage in the league, and Dotson has been average at best against zone coverage.
Ryan Flournoy has been solid and could be considered a FLEX option after last week’s performance. However, the Cardinals run the 5th-most zone coverage in the league, and Flournoy has struggled to find opportunities and produce yardage against zone coverage.

Continue to sit Brian Thomas Jr. despite him coming off a bye week and looking for any signs of hope. The Colts allow the 3rd-fewest fantasy points to outside receivers.
Chris Bell could be a deep sleeper, as he sees more targets per route run against man coverage, and the Patriots play the 2nd-most man coverage in the league.
There is upside to Treylon Burks, but the Eagles rank in the bottom 10 in fantasy points allowed to outside receivers as Burks fills the Terry McLaurin role.

Tyler Warren is questionable for Week 8, but he would be ranked here if he plays.
Hunter Henry has been on fire lately, scoring double-digit fantasy points in 3 straight games. He faces a Dolphins team that has allowed 60 or more receiving yards to a tight end in 4 of their 6 games.
Kyle Pitts may be touchdown-or-bust this week against a Buccaneers team that runs the 3rd-most zone coverage in the NFL. Pitts sees fewer targets and receiving yards against zone coverage.
Sam LaPorta has struggled in recent weeks and faces a Vikings team that runs the 2nd-most zone coverage in the NFL. Statistically, LaPorta sees fewer targets and receiving yards against zone coverage.

AJ Barner has some sleeper potential, as the Bears have allowed a tight end to surpass 60 yards in 3 straight games.
Tyler Higbee has a decent matchup against the Chargers, who have allowed a tight end to surpass 50 yards in back-to-back games. Also, consider Colby Parkinson or Davis Allen as sleepers in deeper leagues.
Could we finally see Mark Andrews bounce back? The Bills have allowed over 60 yards to a tight end in 3 of their last 4 games.
Jake Ferguson should be left out of lineups, as he is averaging just 2.7 fantasy points over his last 4 games.
