Devy Mock Draft

Dynasty Nerds Devy Mock Draft – October

The Dynasty Nerds Devy team does a five-round Devy mock draft in October, including some updated Nerds Devy ADP.

This is our Dynasty Nerds Devy team’s (#DevyNerds) October Devy mock draft. We will do one a month and include some updated Dynasty Nerds Devy average draft positions (ADP). Please, check out the links to our Devy spotlights brought to you by the Dynasty Nerds Devy team at the beginning of each round.

Devy Mock Format

Here is the setup. This is a Devy Mock draft; no high school players are allowed. The format is a twelve-team Superflex (SF), PPR & Tight-End premium (TEP) league with standard roster construction.

Participants & Order

The order for our mock is as follows: 1.01 @AndrewHarbaugh_, 1.02 @_jasonstein, 1.03 @DanT_NFL, 1.04 @ekballer, 1.05 @GUMP7285, 1.06 @FF_Hulsey, 1.07 @noahrwright, 1.08 @mastapj, 1.09 @FF_TJHernandez, 1.10 @ffpeebleschamp, 1.11 @CFFGuys, 1.12 @Daboys_22

Round 1

Round 1 Dynasty Nerds Devy Spotlights: Bijan Robinson, C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs, TreVeyon Henderson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zach Evans, Marvin Harrison Jr., Nicholas Singleton, & Jordan Addison.

The usual cast of characters are at the top of the 1st round. Caleb Williams looks like one of the best QBs in college football and is pushing his way up to the top of the 1st round. TreVeyon Henderson falls a little lower vs. his Nerds ADP. And now we have some young studs forcing their way into the 1st round in Quinn Ewers, Marvin Harrison Jr., and true freshman RB Nicholas Singleton.

Round 2

Round 2 Dynasty Nerds Devy Spotlights: Kayshon Boutte, Sean Tucker, Will Shipley, Quentin Johnston, Brock Bowers, Braelon Allen, & Will Levis.

The big risers in the 2nd round are Emeka Egbuka, the standout sophomore OSU WR and Will Levis, the veteran Kentucky QB that has been getting some NFL draft buzz recently. And the biggest faller vs. Nerds ADP is sophomore RB Braelon Allen out of Wisconsin. These drafts take place over a couple of weeks, so things change fast; I’d venture to guess Quentin Johnston will probably start rising in these drafts after the tremendous past couple of weeks he has had.

Round 3

Round 3 Dynasty Nerds Devy Spotlights: Blake Corum, Branson Robinson, Donovan Edwards, Michael Mayer, Luther Burden, Jermaine Burton, Cedric Tillman, & Evan Stewart.

The big round 3 risers vs. Nerds ADP are Quinshon Judkins, Blake Corum, Cam Ward, & Troy Franklin. True freshman Judkins is off to an outstanding start to his career. Sometimes outshining his backfield teammate Zach Evans, picked in round 1. Two RBs from the dominant Michigan rushing attack go in round 3, Corum and Edwards. With Corum being 2023 eligible and Edwards in the 2024 class. And finally, sophomore Troy Franklin makes his way into the bottom of the third round as he starts to produce more at Oregon.

Round 4

Round 4 Dynasty Nerds Devy Spotlights: Kendall Milton, Marvin Mims, Mario Williams, Jaydon Blue, & Anthony Richardson.

The big risers vs. Nerd ADP in the 4th round are DJ Uiagalelei and Tetairoa McMillan. A former devy darling last year, this is the first time DJU has been selected in our Nerds Devy Mocks. And true freshman McMillan looks like the real deal in Arizona this year. Anthony Richardson has been one of the more volatile (month-to-month) players. He’s gone as early as the first round, as late as the fourth round, and everywhere in between.

Round 5

Round 5 Dynasty Nerds Devy Spotlights: Michael Trigg.

Many new players to our devy drafts were selected in round five, including true freshman RB Jaydn Ott of California, WR Rome Odunze of Washington, bruising RB Chase Brown of Illinois, and true Freshman WR Antonio Williams of Clemson.

Interestingly, the big-fallers vs. Nerds ADP fell out of the draft entirely. We had Parker Washington, Tyler Van Dyke, Rakim Jarrett, Devon Achane, and Beaux Collins all go from mid-round ADP to entirely out of our October mock.

Just like in June/July/August/September, there were a lot of Ohio State (6), Alabama (4), Clemson (4), Georgia (3), Michigan (3), Ole Miss (3), Texas (3) & USC (3) Devy players selected. And a few other schools with multiple players taken each.

Roster Evaluation

You have seen how each round went down; now, let’s look at each team’s roster. It’s just as important and informative to see the roster breakouts as it is to see the draft order. When you look at it from the roster perspective, you can get an idea of how you can build a Devy pipeline of all different shapes. Look at the Rosters picture above for some excellent examples of building an effective Devy squad.

Dynasty Nerds Devy ADP

Below is our combined Nerds ADP from our Devy Mock drafts from June, July, August, September, and October. We will keep doing this every month so that it will improve over time.

That’s it. I hope you enjoyed the October Dynasty Nerds Devy Mock draft. The entire Devy team is here to help, so please get in touch with any of us if you need anything.
